As Zero Hedge reminded us today, three things are true where the soon-to-be-announced new $10 American Federal Reserve Note is concerned:
- Treasury Secretary Jack Lew has revealed that Alexander Hamilton will soon be removed from the $10 note in favor of an as-yet-unnamed woman (or possibly “woman”).
- Secretary Lew has stated that “America’s currency is a way for our nation to make a statement about who we are and what we stand for.”
- Secretary Lew has also said that “Our paper bills . . .have long been a way for us to honor our past and express our values.”
At which point ZeroHedge could not help but wonder if the following might be right around the corner and soon in our proud American wallets:
Seems brilliantly consistent, actually.
I mean, why not have a fake woman as the face of our fake money? (See: Fiat $lavery: We have been bought and paid for…with nothing.)
If fiat currency is legit, then why not fiat gender identity? (See: Gender Chaos: The Insanity (and Impossibility) of “Sex Change”.)
It seems to be right in line with our ever-increasing American commitment to things like fake freedom, fake privacy, and fake liberty. (See: So the American State has to destroy our freedom in order to protect it? Oh yeah, that makes sense.)
That, my fellow ‘Mericans, is the brutal reality of our condition. The question now is what the true Church of Christ the King is going to do about it. (See: Do we love America enough to call her to repentance? Or are we too proud for that?)
Are we going to fight to win by His grace, for His glory and to our eternal benefit in accordance with His Gospel-fueled Great Commission? (See: Roaring into Post-America Christianity.)
Or are we going to go right on folding like a cheap counterfeit “woman” adorned bill?
