What kind of culture produces the likes of King David?
What kind of culture doesn’t?
And which one are we closer to these days here in “the land of the free” and the home of the NSA? (Hint: We don’t know the difference between a boy and a girl, we need safe spaces at college campuses, and we’re terrified of the measles.)
These are some questions likely to flow from this week’s Capitol Ministries Bible Study examining the character and worldview of David, which I wanted to share with you here (especially because my prep time in writing and laying out the print material pictured below substantially cuts into my blogging time during Session, which runs from early January to April or May).
For those of you supporting the Bible study as we head into our second year, first off: Thank you! Your support and encouragement is more appreciated than you may ever know on this side of eternity. For those interested in following along, here are some images of the print material accompanying this week’s study.
Here are pages 2 and 3, which I’ve included together here for layout reasons (if you want a .pdf so that you can read content more easily, just let me know):
And here’s Page 4:
If you’d like a .pdf or Word copy of this material, please let me know and I’ll get a file sent your way ASAP (though it could take a week or two with my crazy January schedule).
If you’d like to help keep this Capitol Ministries Bible Study mission rolling, you can make a tax deductible donation through the CapMin donation page. If you select Tennessee and/or mention me by name (Scott Alan Buss) on the online donation form, your donation will completely go to supporting my work in Nashville.
Your prayers and support are greatly appreciated!
