Who owns America?

Contrary to popular ‘Merican belief, the correct answer is not “We the People”. (See: We the people…are not God.)

The correct answer is Christ.

While that is the correct answer, it is not at this time in ‘Merican history a particularly popular answer, even (and often especially) among many self-identified “conservative Christians” in the land. Yet popular or not, Christ’s ownership of America is an inescapable, unbreakable truth…and we shouldn’t want it any other way.

America is His property.

And not later or in some metaphoric or symbolic sense, but in plain, simple reality…right now.

All authority and rights of ownership of King Jesus over what we now know as America do not arrive later in some far-flung fantastic future context or only after His assured physical return to earth. America and everything therein belongs to Him completely right here and right now:

And Jesus came and said to them, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. ~ Matthew 28:18-20

The land that America presently occupies is all His property. He is the landowner; our land Lord, if you will. He has set the non-negotiable terms for our use of His land and everything therein.

The materials that comprise America’s cities, roads, jets and shopping malls are all His property.

The immaterial things that we use are all His property, too – the logic and truth that inspires every productive creative act in America are all His. He has set the non-negotiable terms for our use of these immaterial things as well. (See: Art, math, beauty, logic, law and economics…it’s all about Him.)

Everything in America belongs to Him. We are presently responsible to Him for how we use what He has provided, including how we perceive (or ignore) His provision and ownership of all of these things in the first place.

DrEvilGodGivenMeme650pwLand, water, air, metal, technology, economics, politics, art, law…they all belong to Him.

So how are we doing with what He has given?

What are we doing with what He has graciously provided?

Are we the “conservative Christian people” of America accepting and embracing the biblical truth that all of these things are His and that we are lovingly commanded to make disciples of all people in all nations – including Americans in ‘Merica – who obey all that He has commanded in every area of life? Or are we rejecting that and pursuing our own way?

Are we beginning with the crystal clear, life-defining truth that He is the essential, exclusive starting point and destination – the source and the object – of all true art, economics, business, civil government, law, education and everything else? Or are we more into an “American way” that defines things like freedom, liberty, truth and justice based on the whims-of-the-moment of “We the People”? (See: Note to ‘Merica: There is no “God-given right” to worship false gods. Repent accordingly.)

The bad news of the moment seems to be that even now in the midst of our “We the People” cultural and civilizational implosion, most of the people in question are still clinging to a secular “We the People” mentality whenever and wherever it clearly contradicts the Nature of God as revealed in His Word.

However sad and destructive it may be, this approach is neither accidental nor surprising. It’s not accidental because we’ve been purposefully conditioned over many generations now to place the State in the role of God (and church and family) in practice. It’s not surprising because, after generations of progressively deepening programming in this “State as God in practice” mentality through saturation in State- and Corporate- controlled “schools”, pop-culture and 501(c)(3) State-approved “churches”, we’ve been thoroughly conditioned to be proud and happy American Statists…who call themselves Christians, of course.

This is why we tend to bristle at even the suggestion that His Word in every detail is the actual, binding reality for all of His creation right here and now, and that America can only find true restoration and lasting life through active, open submission to every bit of that Word.

These Christ as King in practice notions are thoughts that “We the People” cannot currently seem to abide. Subjugation to Christ as King in every detail in every area of life is something that most “conservative Christians” in America not only aren’t inclined to support, but, more often than not, seem to rather vehemently oppose.

Flags

Want a simple way of testing this assessment of “conservative Christian American” culture?

Put the definitive symbol of American pride – the American flag – clearly below and in submission to a symbol of Christ’s lordship, as in the picture above, and just see what happens. See what people think and say and do in response. See who has “all authority” right here and now in their eyes. See who they believe should submit to whom. (See: Whose flag should fly highest over America?)

This tells us much about where we are, how we got here, and what we need to do if there is to be a true restoration of the land we now know as America.

In allowing the State to become God in practice over the past 200+ years, we’ve paved the way for the cultural carnage that is unfolding around us. (See: Judgment begins with the Church…not the Democrats.)

In feeding our children to the beast of State-run “education”, we’ve assured the continuing trend of increasingly anti-Christian generational worldviews with each successive generation of Americans. (See: Redeeming Children’s Education: Confronting Our Satanic Approach to the Pursuit of Knowledge.)

In allowing ourselves to be led by the nose by our favorite unbelieving Pagan Right “experts”, we’ve enabled and are quite happy with the expansion of an Almighty American State, so long as it’s run by Republicans. (See: Confronting the Gay Orwellian Party: Dragging the Pagan Right out of the closet and into the light.)

In allowing even our churches to be led by (sometimes unconscious) Statists and defenders of State-as-God policies and cultural norms, we’ve produced generations of “American Christians” who have (and often want) no clue as to the lordship of Christ right now in the realm of politics, law, economics and the like, preferring instead to let the American Corporate State dictate through its “schools” and pop-culture what law, economics, art and everything else ought to look like here in “the real world”. (See: Why is the beast of Socialism eating our children? Ask your pastor.)

What’s the answer to all of this?

What is the solution?

Where is there hope?

Same place as always: The Gospel-fueled Great Commission of Jesus Christ the reigning King of creation.

That’s all that we need – He’s all that we need – to overcome the Candy Christianity, Magic Christianity, “Gospel in a Bottle”-driven Mr. Potato Jesus religion that has fundamentally transformed America through its apathy, laziness and cowardice.

By His grace through His obedient peoples’ proclamation, pursuit and application of His lordship in every realm of right-now American life, even this prideful, bloated, diseased and dying culture can be supernaturally saved. (See: Roaring into Post-America Christianity.)

Even this culture can be transformed from one determined to see the flag of the Corporate American State fly over that of Christ into one that is begging for and thrilled at the thought of Christ the King being acknowledged and honored in every way as the active ruler over America and everywhere else. 1. Who owns America? ~ GOD, creator of the universe and Father of all ~ not Christ (Messiah) to whom was given all authority by that Creator.
Your article is good in it's content, but it is plain to see that you have been indoctrinated by the lies of the ancient "pagan right experts", better
known as the Church Fathers, who by their Plato inspired ideologies bamboozled the world into believing that Jesus is God. God is Spirit and
completely separate from, but in full control of His creation. He needed a human being, who would fully represent God Himself to the whole
world and become the future King of Israel ~ not King of the World. That title belongs to God alone. Jesus came to reveal the heart of the Father and was in complete agreement with His commandments and the restoration of all humanity. That's the meaning of "if you've seen me, you've seen the Father" ~ not that they were one in the same!!!
For since by MAN came death (thru sin), by MAN also came the resurrection of the dead. I Cor 15-21 Adam was the perfect man, but he sinned and brought death into the world. That sin had to be atoned for by an equally perfect man, who by his death would become our High
Priest before God Almighty. In I Cor. 15:28 " Now when all things are made subject to him, then the son himself will ALSO be subject to Him,
(God) who put all things under him (Jesus), so that GOD will be all in all. Jesus can't be God if he's going to be subject to the ONE TRUE GOD. Does Jesus have a God? His own words declare so!!!! John 20:17 and Rev. 3:12.
Read the scriptures with an unbiased eye of what you've been taught, and you will see that there are 2 distinct beings, God, the Father, Creator and the one that He sent (43 references to being sent in John), our Lord (Master) Jesus the Christ (Messiah). Give each of them their due for WHO they are. Making Jesus God is playing into the Greek mythology of man-gods. He is SO above that, but not GOD himself.
(God is NOT a man that He should lie… Num. 23:19.
